Well dolls I'm gong to be MIA for about a week, things are just busy at both work and home right now. Promise to be back around 12/14 though!

Nail Polish Swap Results

I linked up with Tara @ Fabulous but Evil and Celia @ Just Trying to Find My Way for their Nail Polish Swap in November and met the lovely Ray J over at Point Me to the Sky Above.

We are both geeky moms who have 9 month old baby boys, in fact Baby Jay is only 6 days older than Sawyer. By the way, check out her little man's Ewok costume from Halloween, I was incredibly jealous.

I got Ray's package on Wednesday, 11/23 and it was a great Thanksgiving treat...

not one, not two, but SEVEN nail polishes

 I loved the dark red and dark purple (go Pirates) polish and who wouldn't adore a gift pack of polishes from the ever-so-wonderful e.l.f.! The pack included glittery gold, black (more of a gun metal gray), red and magenta and a solid mauve. I am currently rocking the glittery black - check it out..

Note how swollen my hands are? My ring finger is all sausaged around my wedding bands and such. Stupid blood pressure.

Thanks Ray, loved the polish and it was great getting to know you a little better!

work is crazy to say the least.
it's December now which means I need to work on...

• getting the district's holiday cards sent to the other school systems

• create certificates and programs, order programs and prepare my speech for Gold Key Awards

• wrap up our United Way campaign and collect and count the money from my 15 sub-coordinators

• meet one more time with my Accreditation Standard 6 Committee so we can go over our survey results and answers to the focus questions to be submitted to the big Accreditation team

• order another banner for Edgecombe Early College High School since I messed up the first one (who knew there was a difference between "Honor School of Excellence" just plain ole "School of Excellence?)

• start the calendar planning process for next school year

• set my department budget for the 2012-2012 fiscal year

I do NOT make enough money to have this much on my plate. Meanwhile my BP is climbing higher and higher, thanks for your well wishes yesterday, I have an appointment with the endocrinologist Monday to see if something is wrong with my thyroid. 

and if someone comments "be happy you have a job" I will die.
